Empowerment Works operates programs out of our office in The SWFL Enterprise Center.


The SWFL Enterprise Center Entrepreneur School

The SWFL Enterprise Center Entrepreneur School is a six week course given at the SWFL Enterprise Center to teach individuals how to start, grow or revive their business. Empowerment Works volunteers help attendees with financial assessment and planning, and building internal systems to account for, control and grow their businesses.


The SWFL Enterprise Center Bookkeeping School

The SWFL Enterprise Center Bookkeeping School is a four week course given at the SWFL Enterprise Center to teach individuals with little experience the skills necessary for their first accounting or bookkeeping job. Attendees learn bookkeeping skills to start a new career, keep track of their own small business, or to enhance skills in their current job.


Empowerment Works Bookkeeping Internship

Empowerment Works interns gain experience performing bookkeeping for SWFL Enterprise Center clients under the direction of volunteer certified Public accountants. Successful interns transition to bookkeeping positions in industry and in public accounting.
